1 Corinthians 12:27-13:3 and Galatians 5:22-23
Everyone in the body of Christ has been given spiritual gifts for the common good, but these gifts are meaningless without love. While the Corinthian church struggled with people believing their gifts made them superior, Paul emphasized that love is the essential foundation from which all other spiritual fruits grow. Love is powerful enough to transform lives from the inside out, though our ability to love others is often hindered by our own inner brokenness. Through healing and embracing God's love, we can overcome these barriers and allow love to overflow to others, even those who are difficult to love.
