Student Ministries is committed to loving and serving students and their families as they navigate the teen years and explore their faith in Christ
Our ministry emphasizes strategically focused Bible studies, events, retreats, and service projects to meet students where they are and ignite a passion for Christ that will stick with them wherever they go.
What to expect:
Small Groups are divided up by grade and gender and meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in host homes. During Small Group time, students play games, spend time with their peers, and build community with programming that is developed on open discussions led by the students but guided by our volunteers.
Students in grades 6-8 will journey through the confirmation pathway. Through interactive lessons, table discussions, and retreats, students make connections and friendships that will last a lifetime as they learn what it's like to be a part of God's big story. We'll dive into the core beliefs of the Christian faith and offer space for students to reflect on their own faith questions. They will have the opportunity to learn what it means to trust in Jesus even when they have questions and doubts.
At the end of that time, we have a Confirmation Retreat where each student gets to decide for themselves if being confirmed is a calling they want to pursue.
