Romans 12:1-2 and Matthew 6:33
In our journey of faith, we often find ourselves living a 'scattered life,' jumping from one concern to another without a unifying purpose. This sermon challenges us to transform our scattered existence into a 'unified life' centered on our relationship with God. Drawing from Romans 12:1, we're reminded that our entire lives—from the mundane to the extraordinary—can be an offering to God. The powerful message is that everything, even our daily routines, can be an act of worship when done with the right intention. This perspective invites us to see our faith not as confined to a 'religion drawer,' but as the overarching framework that gives meaning to all aspects of our lives. By viewing our actions through this lens, we can find purpose in even the most ordinary tasks, turning them into opportunities for spiritual growth and connection with the Divine.
