Luke 16:10 and Zechariah 4:10
In our journey of faith, we often overlook the power of small beginnings. This message reminds us that God delights in the seemingly insignificant acts of faithfulness we perform daily. Drawing from the story of the returned Jewish exiles rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem (Zechariah 4:10), we're encouraged not to despise these small beginnings. Our lives are built on countless tiny choices and habits, each one a vote for the person we're becoming. Like a kite string across Niagara Falls that eventually became a bridge, our small acts of kindness, forgiveness, and bravery are the foundation for transformative change. We're called to start small, focusing on the people and opportunities already before us, trusting that God sees the potential in every small step we take. This week, let's challenge ourselves to choose one small act of faithfulness, knowing it carries the DNA of something greater in God's kingdom.
