Peter was in Jesus’ inner circle, walked on water, and preached to thousands. He also gave in to his fears and doubts on occasion and he denied Jesus. But he was the rock on which God would build the church. We are a lot like Peter – faithful, hopeful, fumbling, persistent, forgiven, restored.
