Psalm 1:1-3 and John 1:14-18
The Bible is not an instruction manual or systematic theology textbook, but rather a collection of inspired writings that point to deeper spiritual truths. While it contains different perspectives and apparent contradictions, these actually enrich our understanding of God. Scripture functions both as a mirror for self-examination and a window into God's view of creation. Most importantly, we should interpret all Scripture through the lens of Jesus Christ—his words, interpretive methods, and actions—allowing it to transform us into people who follow Jesus more closely and help bring about God's kingdom. #Bible interpretation, biblical truth, Jesus as interpretive lens, biblical inspiration, difficult Bible passages, Scripture interpretation, biblical authority, Christian theology, spiritual growth, biblical misconceptions, God-breathed Scripture, biblical perspectives, Christian faith, biblical understanding, spiritual transformation.
