Lent and Easter

Lent is a season of reflection, and Easter is a celebration of hope. We invite you to experience both with us at St. Luke’s.

Lenten Sermon Series

Who is this man Jesus?

As Christians, we have committed to be followers of Jesus, a carpenter from Nazareth who lived 2000 years ago and changed the world. But do we really know this Jesus? Do we recognize what he actually did and taught in his brief ministry, and what it means for us today? During the Sundays of Lent, February 22-March 29, St. Luke’s sermon series, “Who is this man, Jesus?”, will help us develop a deeper understanding of who Jesus is, and what he still intends to do in our lives and in our world. Come and meet Jesus, our teacher, restorer, disrupter, healer, friend, and king.

Easter Offering

Through simple acts of love, we are feeding children, supporting families, and creating space for people to gather around the table. Your gift helps provide lunches for preschool-aged children through Kids’ Meals, increases access to fresh food by supporting Christian Community Service Center as they open a third food pantry, and makes it possible to share a welcoming community meal at Wednesday Night Fellowship at our Gethsemane campus.
