Join us for the REVIVE Women’s Retreat to take a short respite from your daily routine and replenish your soul. Our featured keynote speaker will be New York Times bestselling author, Melanie Shankle, who will share her hilarious take on life, faith, friendship, and appreciating all that God has given to us.

Bring your tribe. Meet new people. Have a great time with the three F’s – Fellowship, Food, and Fun. Enjoy incredible music during our Spirit-filled worship opportunities. During breakout sessions, you will learn about Bible journaling, using fitness as a tool to spread the gospel, the KonMari method of tidying up, the aging process, parenting, family relationships, or the importance of friendship. We encourage you to support some local vendors at our Mid-day Market on Saturday. That’s right! Shopping! Childcare will be available on Saturday so start making plans to join us on October 23-24.

Melanie Shankle was in fourth grade when her teacher asked her to read a story she had written to the entire class. Even though that story now seems a little silly and simplistic, it made the students in Mrs. Rice’s homeroom laugh out loud, and a little dream began in Melanie’s heart—a dream to use words to make people laugh.

Melanie started her popular daily blog, Big Mama, in 2006. She is a New York Times bestselling author with books including, Sparkly Green Earrings, Church of the Small Things, and Everyday Holy. Her newest book, On the Bright Side, was just released February 2020. Melanie also has the BIG BOO podcast with Sophie Hudson. This busy mom is a graduate of Texas A&M who loves writing, shopping at Target, checking to see what’s on sale at Anthropologie, and trying to find the funny in every situation.
